It is fine for that CPU which does not overclock. Only reason to get an aftermarket cooler would be if you wanted a more quiet cooling solution.

It can be used even if the processor is very busy for long periods of time. I've run Prime95 torture tests for 12 hours on my i7-3770 and the fan wasn't noisy. Is yours very noisy?
