Hi,

So basically I installed windows on my small (128gb) SSD. But I dont want all my downloads...my pictures...my documents etc.etc. to be on there. How can I get it so that when I download something, it goes into my other drive, or so my pictures, are stored in my other, larger drive.

Thanks :)

Solution

yes you can , check the broweser setup where it stores the files and change the setting.

also try Internet Download Manager , it is cool

To change where Chrome saves your downloads , go to the upper right corner , press on the customize icon ,

then choose settings , then , click on show advance settings , then scroll down , you will find downloads , and you can put there where you want Chrome to save your downloads , make a folder in the other drive for it .

now the other things , which Windows are you usng Windows 8 or 7 ?

in general , right click on "My Documents" or "my videos" etc folder , then Properties you can change its location ... this is the easiest way for you.
