Both the cpus wud go great with the 7870 they can even handle cards like 770 so no problem there
The choice f cpu depends on u if u wanna b more future proof then the eight core wud b the best fr u as most future games are gonna require that core count and even future consoles like ps4 and xbox1 will have eight core
