First things off, here is my PC details:

MSI 760GM-P33
AMD Athlon II x3 440
GeForce 210
4gig Kingston ddr3 1333

The problem started when I was trying to set up my headset microphone. I took out all connections and opened my pc case. Then when I put it all back, tried booting it, it doesn't power on. Then tried a couple of times and checked the connections, it finally turned on. Then when I tried playing Dota 2 (I never had any problems playing this game before), in the middle of the game it totally shut down. Tried to reconnect but now the graphics in the game is missing some graphics (like missing hairs, no effects) then it shuts down again.

I opened up and cleaned up my pc from dust then checked for anything wrong. Then it does not power on again. I connected the monitor cord to the onboard video card then I heard three continuous beeps. I reconnected it again to my video card and switched the memory card to another slot. It finally powered on and heard one beep. All my drivers are updated. Is there any way to check if any of my hardware has any problem or do I need to replace my video card? If so, what would be the best video card compatible to my motherboard? Thanks!

The problem progressed now to pc shutting down even when I am just browsing and not just playing games. Is there any programs that can help me determine if any of my hardware is faulty? Thanks again.

Downloaded Hiren's Boot CD. Checked cpu, memory and video card tests. On each of those tests, the pc shutdown. Could this be then a motherboard problem? Anyone can help? I don't know what else I can do with this problem. Thanks!

Well, I resolved my problem by applying new thermal paste to the cpu and the gpu. Installed two brand new fans to the system. Now I am getting 40 degrees temp on the cpu and 45 on the gpu. Installed Dota 2 again and it doesn't shut down anymore.

please consider this post resolved.
