To test some temps of my fx 8350, i ran prime95. after running for about 15 minutes, the temp stayed at 64 for about ten minutes. What i npoticed was that two cores (core 4 and 6) were not working in the test and that prime95 shutted down the cores. after i closed it i saw that they did work again. Was this stopping because of the temps?
ambient temp: 25~30 (heatwave in netherlands)
idle: CPU 35-40
stressed: max 65 (borderlands 2 ultra = 54)
package temp idle: 14
package temp stressed: max 51 (under prime 95) but i noticed under borderlands 2 that some cores got a max that was about 190 degrees 0.0 still average temp was 37 for each core after playing for about 1,5 hour
