Hey guys. I'm currently making a build for a gaming station. I have one ready, and I'm in the process of double checking it before I order. I have about $1100 to spend, and I'm right on the mark on that.

I have two monitors, a 24"in and a 19". Obviously I play on the 24" and at a 1080p resolution. I plan to overclock the processor.

Questions:

Is everything compatible?
When I get all the items, will I be able to install them all in the case, everything fit fine, run it and install Win7, then play games without any issues?
Will it all fit together?
Is everything a suitable choice?

I really need to know if it's all compatible, I'll have lots of trouble if something isn't due to difficulties refunding items. Thanks for help, let me know if you need to know anything else.

If I order it today, it will come in 5 days. Besides an OS, after I order, will everything fit in the case and then run? I won't need anything else, correct? EVERYTHING IS COMPATIBLE?

Solution
I have a Gigabyte HD7970 with the same Windforce-3 cooler on it, and it fits in a Fractal Design Define Mini, a mini-ATX case. Your case is ATX, so it should fit.
If you are overclocking on Haswell you might want to look at this:

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/best-heat-sink-haswell,3554-22.html.

The i5 part is the same rated power as the i7 in the study. Depending on your operating environment, you might be seeing pretty high temps while overclocking with the Hyper 212.

The RAM I'm getting is a bit faster, isn't it?

And that cooler looks really big, but I'm picking it up. Are you sure the RAM will still fit with that on?

The performance difference between DDR3-1866 and DDR3-1600 is slight and likely only visible in a few benchmarks. The RAM I listed is low-profile and will fit under the cooler. The Gaia is a similar size (not quite as thick?), offering similar performance, but it is $10 cheaper (before a $5 MIR on the Hyper212 EVO, which is a game you may not win).

All of the better ones are pretty costly. The lower ends still cool at 75C. Are those worth picking up> What do you recommend?

Yes, but I don't only plan to use the system for gaming. I do some calculations, programming and lots of multitasking, as well as web design and image and video work. Will the RAM still not make a difference? If not, I'll grab the cheaper one.

$65 with promo code

10% off with promo code, good timing

Which of these should I grab? Or something else? These were on the promo page.

To be honest, costs don't really matter. I'd rather stick with the original because it's theoretically better and has better timings, but I really don't know what I'm doing so I'll listen to you. :p

+1 Get RAM with a normal heat spreader, the large ones are only for looks and will get in the way of your heatsink, not worth the hassle so that your computer can look like it has hedgehog stuffed in it.

I was checking out the supported memory for my Motherboard, even if it's not on there, is that OK?

your motherboard supports 4×240pin DDR3 2933+(OC)/2800(OC)/2400(OC)/2133(OC)/1866(OC)/1600/1333/1066 -- 1866 is listed in there and that is the same as the RAM you just listed. Looks like your good to go.

Ok. I was looking at sizes and it does look like the Gaia is a tiny bit better, and the reviews range from Hyper 212 is better to Gaia is better, so i'll go with what I originally have.

Am I ready to order? Motherboard will fit in case? GPU will fit in case? Everything will work when I stick it in?

Everything will fit.
AND, my bad but I see my original RAM was actually DDR3-1333, not -1600; it looks like you've found some other low-profile sticks, so you're good.
The Gaia and the Hyper212 offer comparable performance (1C is insignificant), but the Gaia is cheaper, making the other a bang/buck loser.
