Sound card or onboard?

I recently purchased a MSI Z77A0G45 Gaming motherboard, which (surprise surprise) has onboard audio. I also have an ASUS DGX 5.1 soundcard.

When I build my system in a couple of weeks, should I use the onboard or run the card?

Well..ASUS DGX 5.1 is a low end all around soundcard..but it should better than your current onboard audio

I have a creative audigy sb350 add on card, and it's far much better than my Realtek ALC892 on board audio..
