I have decided to maybe get a upgrade as long as it is under 100$ is this a good pick? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157361
ASRock A55M-VS FM1 AMD A55 (Hudson D2) Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819106014
AMD A4-3400 Llano 2.7GHz Socket FM1 65W Dual-Core Desktop APU (CPU + GPU) with DirectX 11 Graphic AMD Radeon HD 6410D AD3400OJHXBOX

I got a $200 Visa gift card and bought a $96 on sale 60% tablet I had been waiting to get for a while and was wondering if this was a good combo upgrade for under $100 (and preferably close to 80).

I read up on AMD CPUs and found out they dont suck as I had heard from many people and as a P4 I was going to buy is now gone thought I might get my first AMD. It supposedly has graphics built in and runs@2.7 GHZ and has 2 cores. I might get this Motherboard for it or a similar priced one if suggested.

I thought somewhat decent MBs were $75+ and CPUs were close to $200 or more before looking on NewEgg and being shocked by the low prices I found.

Now what I said in a post about using a Pentium D on a D865GBF not working and that I couldnt afford a upgrade is far from true. I feel ashamed a nd very stupid. What was suggested to me by someone I cant afford but this I DEFINITELY can.

Please help as this will be my first AMD PC and I want to know if this is a good combo.

EDIT:HTML IS NOT ALLOWED!?!?!?! AGGGGGGGGGGH.
How do I make colored links and close my previous threads (Im pretty new here).
Sorry I fixed the links now. The site appended random garbage to them.

Is the integrated GPU in the CPU better than my 2001 GeForce 4 MX 440?
I believe so, making this is a major upgrade. I mostly play MineTest and N64 games on a emulator besides Nexuiz 2007 and AssultCube.

LINKS FIXED!!!

Thanks for the comparison of the two.
It definitely would have better performance then.
I didnt even know OpenGL 4.1 existed!!!!!
Funny how the max resolutions are very similar.
I believe I will be getting this as a long needed upgrade and keep my Intel as a spare.
Or turn it into a media center inside a custom wooden box on a 250W PSU I have laying around. That sounds like a perfect plan actually it wouldnt need a hdd only a BluRay drive and could boot of a flash drive soldered to a USB header. Hmmmmm..... XBMC on a flash drive + MB + PSU + BD-RW drive+ Capture card (have a 480P one somewheres) and I have a BD player/burner that also has 3 video inputs. The current GPU would be fine for that. Plus it could be a web browser using Internet over Bluetooth which our router has.

FINALLY A USE FOR THE SMALL TV IN MY ROOM!!! LOL. (My desktop is in the basement)

Thanks again, you helped me decide.
I can always get a dedicated card sometime later anyways if I need it.
Have a nice day!
