Is it worth putting in an outdated graphics card with a apu?

I am purchasing a apu for a mid-range gaming/ video editing build and I was wondering it putting in a out dated gpu was would help or hurt performance. The graphics card is a raedon x700 series.

I don't think any current apu graphics would be considered as gaming quality. And a X700 might not be even that good. For gaming, think about $100 for an entry level gaming card. If your editing app can make use of CUDA to enhance performance, then make it a Nvidia card.
