I've been having some problems with my Radeon HD 7770 graphics card. Mainly while playing games, my computer has a tendency to time out and then just start back up again. It seems to be worse in some games than others.

I know enough with computers to get by, though I'm no technical genius when it comes to them but I've tried I've tried a few solutions so far:

-I've gone into the AMD Catalyst centre, upped the fan speed and the power settings a tad.

-I read somewhere else about going into the registry files and changing the TDR time from 2 to 8 seconds

-Reinstalled all my graphics card drivers

-Tried an older version of Catalyst

None of this seems to have worked, so I'm inquiring here to see if anyone has any suggestions?

My specs:

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2P
ProcessorsAMD FX Quad core
RAM: 8gb
PSU: Tesla Model 750TE-BR

Have you tried lowering the GPU and Memory clock? 800/1000. That seems to have stopped the problems I had. Also read somewhere that upping the power control by 10% could help, but I'm not that keen on experimenting with that without more information, especially when everything is working fine.

Playing WoW at the moment and it sits around 65-70 Celsius, though this isn't usually one of the affected games. I'll update with another reading when I get the chance.
