Hello, Today I was wondering if I could fix my graphics card. One day after installing graphics drivers it broke my graphics card. Everytime I restarted my pc after the "Starting windows" logo came up it would go blank 5 seconds later. I tested the card on my other pc and same problem. I think the graphics card is too old. I want to fix it though and I read online that you can bake it in the oven and revive it. I'm not doing that cause the lead in the graphics card could come out and put chemicals and other toxins in my oven. So I'm planning to use a heatgun and try resolder it. It doesnt matter if it damages it or not but it would be nice to fix it. Heres my questions

Should I use a heat gun?
If so what temperature should it be at(read online that 100 degrees C for 3 minutes then 200 degrees C for 10 minutes is good)
Will this possibly fix the black screen problem(due to a old card)

To also tell you, The card was working fine a few weeks ago and I dont understand how it brakes right on the day of a driver release...
I have a Nvidia 9800GTX+

Any help is appreciated.
