Hello, could anyone suggest a great monitor for $150. I will use the monitor for mainly gaming. I'd prefer the monitor to be 23" since that's what I'm use to but it doesn't matter too much.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

GBP doesn't translate directly into dollars as the tax over here is crazy-high! A £135 monitor would probably be $160/170.

Doesn't have an IPS panel, which I personally prefer. However other than that, it's a great choice!

No! get this> http://www.amazon.co.uk/BenQ-GL2450E-Widescreen-1920x1080-Brilliant/dp/B00AK5F6LI/ref=sr_1_3?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1374875939&sr=1-3&keywords=gl2450

Good response time
60Hz refresh rate (so if you hgave vsync on you can play at a constant FPS of 60.
Nice and thin
LED so the backlight emits truer colours
24"
Native resolution

And best of all it is a really good price. I have one at it is fantastic for playing games. My uncle has the older version that this and he can play Crysis 3 in lovely 1920x1080

The lower the response time, the better. 2ms is what most people like to have for gaming, but it's impossible to tell the difference between 2ms and 5ms without some sort of benchmarks involved - 5ms is perfect for gaming :)

Are you sure, it is only £135 in sterling. A lower response time for a monitor means the image quality is better, However the human eye cannot see any difference (or only little) difference between 5ms and 2ms. even 8ms is acceptable fore gaming.
