How to raise 6670 voltage

One of the solutions to my problems running BF3, for example, is to raise the voltage a tad. The most popular way to do this is through MSI Afterburner, but the option is always greyed out even when I enable the option in the settings. Is there any other way to do this? I already tried the editing the .cfg file in MSI but that didnt work. Thanks in advance

I think it is quite likely the voltage controller on such low-end card doesn't support software based voltage tuning.

Hmm ok that's what I've heard before. What would be the next step up from this card? I may just get a new one as this one has been giving me headaches

Yeah the 6670 is locked voltage. But it really shouldn't need any added voltage.

Many low end cards can even max out the CCC overclocking sliders on stock voltage.

What kind of problem are you having?

The only way that you can over volt that card is to flash a custom rom, but I can't see a low end card getting a good custom rom. Most likely you are out of luck. It would just be better to get a new card.
