Hello,
I'm purchasing a fx-8350 soon, I need some help picking a motherboard. I don't plan to sli or crossfire any time soon but I'm looking for a board that would be stable and not get so hot overclocking. I have a microcenter for the $40 off combo the motherboards i can choose from are below.

MSI 970A-G46 AM3+ ATX for $219.98
ASUS M5A97 R2.0 Socket AM3+ ATX for $234.98
ASROCk 970 Extreme4 AM3+ ATX for $239.98
Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 Socket AM3+ 990FX ATX for $267.98
ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 AM3+ ATX for $334.98

If i chose the Sabertooth i would have to stick with 8gb of ram, This is more of a editing/rendering machine but i will also be gaming.

Thank you for reading my post, i appreciate all feedback.

These are the parts i have, The only things left are the Cpu, Mobo and memory.

Picking the MSI motherboard would be the best option because it means you can put more money into your RAM as you'll need it for rendering/editing and it also has the same features as the other 4 motherboards. 6 SATA 6GB/s ports is plenty seeming as you're only using two currently. http://www.pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-motherboard-970ag46
Choosing RAM is pretty easy, make sure you don't overspend but at the same time get sometime you like and make sure it's compatible. You could pick up the Kingston Black 16GB DDR3 memory and get a very good build for rendering/editing.
