Replacing hard drive on pc, wondering about restoring files

Hey guys. I am working on an old box right now, and it needs a new hard drive. have some backups on the cloud, so here's my question: if I install this new hdd, will I be able to restore all of my files from the cloud backup? Thanks guys.

If they exist elsewhere, sure, why not? No different than having them exist on an external HDD at a friends house, AKA 'local cloud'.
