hi guys, ive recently decided that i am going to buy myself a high end gaming pc after school and was wondering if you could give opinions/recommendations for any of the components i have chosen. thanks

CPU - Intel Core i7 3770 Quad Core CPU, 3.4 GHz

Mobo - asus maximus VI hero Z87

case - NZXT Phantom 410 ATX mid tower

PSU - Corsair Enthusiast Series TX 750 Watt ATX/EPS Modular

GPU - gtx 780

RAM - Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3 12800)

SSD - Intel 520 Series Cherryville 120GB

monitor - ASUS VG248QE 24-Inch

HDD - 3.5" 2TB 7200rpm HDD - Western Digital

my main concern is the monitor, would it be worthwhile forking out the extra money for a monitor of such a high refresh rate (i want to be able to play next gen titles very well :). but ye any tips would be much appreciated thanks

Z87 MoBo no work with 1155 CPU - This MoBo is a bit cheaper with comparable if not better performance

PSU won't handle twin 780s so why SLI capable MoBo ? Suggest bigger case / better PSU - Corsair 500R w/ HX850 - $200 after $45 MIRs and $20 promo

Don't see the $250 price premium for 780.... twin 770s make more sense at $800

Make sure the RAM is low profile

And yes, the monitor is great
