Which Processor is Best for Daily Basic Use ?

Hello
I am building a new computer but can't decide b/w which Processor to Choose .
I do not want to buy a Graphics Card Right Now.
Preference for CPU : Intel
Price: As low as possible but should work like a very powerful Processor.
Any Help Please ?

  1. Basically it is based on budget but an I5 around $200 dollars would fit your needs. I3 would be the next step down in price and performance.
  2. We need to know what the computer will be used for. An i3 would be perfectly fine for everyday tasks but if you wanted to do video editing it would cut it. We need more info.
  3. you can get an i3 3220 it should totally suffice for the daily needs of a pc even with light gaming from facebook etc and some games. it also allows you to add in a gpu down the road next time.
  4. Conditions :
    How's the Core i3 3225 Processor ? VS the AMD A10 6800K ?
Will be upgrading the components @ a gap of 1.5 Years.
Will be doing just Basic Tasks.
Will be gaming @ 1024 by 768 Resolution.
  5. The built in GPU on the AMD is a much better so if you are going without discrete GPU the AMD is the better choice if you are going to be gaming.
  6. Yea, if you won't buy a discrete GPU, go for the A10. That's what I have now. Happy with it, I use it daily. Not much of a power saver than an intel chip, but I bet the difference wouldn't be that much since I only game on it about 3hrs a day.
  7. How good is the processing Power of the A10 ?

The CPU power of the A10 is roughly equal to an i3. The GPU power of the A10 is quite a bit better than an i3

Computing power, more or less than an i3. It's a very debated topic by amd and intel enthusiasts. lol But the GPU power compared to an i3, oh man it's rude to say "quite a bit better"! It's way off i3's league for the iGPU. :)
