I want a mATX mobo. Don't suggest a regular ATX mobo.
I have i7-3770k and intend to overclock up to 4.2 or 4.3 GHz, no more.
Both on Amazon and on Newegg, ASUS P8Z77-M gets excellent reviews, but ASUS P8Z77-M Pro consistently gets poor reviews. A lot of people seem to have issues with the M Pro related to clearing the CMOS in order to boot, or the board won't POST, etc.
I) Can anyone with actual knowledge of these issues related to the specific MOBOs I listed above comment? If you answer, please be detailed.
II) Any thoughts on GA-Z77MX-D3H or ASRock Extreme4-m?
I am really leaning toward the P8Z77-M pro, but really don't want to deal with boot issues, POST, and so on.
