Ok so basically in my current gaming rig, i have a XFX Radeon HD 7870 Double D Ghz, Black Edition 2GB Card. I have nother 3.0 PCI slot (i think thats the name of the slot) And i was originally going to save up for another 7870 and run crossfire with that, but now with the gameplay i record and constantly post to youtube, i wanted to invest into a graphics card that is made for small editing but mostly speed up my render times. So here my question.. Can i have another (i guess i would say full sized) DIFFERENT card in my build next to my 7870 that would be mostly used for the small video editing / mostly rendering speeds part? If yes, what would be a good solution for around 50-150 ? KEEP IN MIND MY POWER SUPPLY IS ONLY 550 W!!

This is my current build (Looking for a dedicated video card for more of the small editing i do that will speed up my render times):

There are cards dedicated to professional applications, but they are way above the price range of even top end gaming graphics cards.
Among your gaming cards, price is basically performance, with your choice of AMD/Nvidia depending on what your applications can leverage. Getting a card cheaper than what you have already I dont see how it will perform better than the 7870 you have.
See if your applications can leverage OpenCL hardware acceleration, in which case your 7870 should provide a pretty neat boost to whatever your doing.
Any card you could buy for $150 wont be better than the 7870 you already have. A gaming series (GeForce GTX and HD Radeon) that costs less wont perform better, and a proper workstation card is well out of your pricerange.

So just to clarify, there aren't any GPU specific cards that are ONLY made for small video editing MOSTLY improving render times that are not already better than my 7870 and are under 150? Looking for a card specifically for that stuff, but if there aren't any already better than my 7870 i need to know (for the budget of 150 of course)

Ok man thanks, so in the future upgrading to another 7870 to Crossfire might be what im looking for to shorten render times? Also willl my 550 W PSU handle another 7870?
EDIT: Also, most to all my renders will be out of Sony Vegas...
