I actually was supposed to get i3 3220 n HD7790, instead opt for i5 3470 n HD7770 vapor x haha so what you guys opinion? Ok?

Graphics card always has much more effect on gaming performance than CPU... but I have a friend with a 7770 and he's happy

Yes, that would be ok for gaming. Games like BF3 and Metro you will not get over 40fps though. Here is a Skyrim benchmark http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/radeon-hd-7770-7750...

W a 1366x768 reso would i get high or max graphical settings for games like civ, skyrim, sims3, etc etc, w no problem? Thanks!

P.s: i dont play much fps, i play that on ps3 mainly. I do play third person shooter on pc sometimes like mass effect etc so yeah fps is out of the question for pc so i dont really care for frame rates w demanding shooter games. Thanks!

At that resolution, the 7770 will do more than enough.
