Computer running extremely slow then crashes

Hi,

So yesterday i was playing a game it froze i tried closing it down then my pc crashed.
I restarted my pc, at one point i got a blue screen. Now i log in to windows and its lagging and running slow like crazy its completely un useable, I got onto safe mode run a virus scan nothing was found but now i cant even get into safe mode.

Please help as i really need my computer,

sounds like the HDD could have died or be on its way out.

try launching windows in VGA mode to check if its a gpu driver issue.

It does come up checking for hard drive consistency, So should i get a new HDD?
Also how can i check if its a driver problem as i cant use windows?

if you have a windows install cd, you might want to try doing a system repair from it.

So i logged on normally inserted the disc it come up then it froze is there a way i can run the disk without going into windows?

oh you need to boot from the windows cd by having it inserted when starting the pc and having the dvd drive as the first boot device.
