Recently I bought both Saints Row: The Third and Frozen Synapse during a Steam Summer Games Sale. However, I experience FPS lag on Saints Row on both Ultra and low settings. Changing from one to another does not change the annoying of the lag. the game is playable on both settings. Then the mouse lags on Frozen Synapse, a very simple turn based strategy shooter. That is absolute nonsense. My computer is WAY overqualified for that. Any clue as to why these two new games lag on my computer?

intel i7 930 w/Corsair H60 (overclocked to 4.0GHz)
ATI Radeon 5700
PC Power & Cooling Silencer Mk III Series 750W
