Hi, I have a GeForce 9400 GT and trying to connect to my Samsung LN40A500T1FXZA 40" LCD, but keep getting "No Signal" no matter the combination.... Ive updated all drivers.

Ive tried: VGA to HDMI cable; DVI to HDMI; VGA to VGA (PC in); and DVI to VGA with 2 different cables.

Ive tried another PC/graphics card, and still no signal, which makes me think its the TV.

My PC IN is always greyed out on the TV for some reason (does not detect the cable).

When using HDMI IN, the NVidia control panel does not detect it unless I click "Rigorous Display Detection". It shows the 2 displays after that, although still "No signal" on my TV when switching to HDMI 2 after cloning or extending monitor.

OS Vista 32 bit.

HELP! thanks.

Funny, when I first built my new rig I had to switch my TV and PC off a few times before it sync'd together.

I had the same no signal, then switched both off and on again a few times and it just came on.

Is your PC definitely booting ok?

yeah, I have the impression its a problem with my TV, though, as Ive tried from another PC.

*** Ah, I think its my DVI-VGA connector! I just ordered a dual link DVI, so we'll see in a few days.
