To start, I have, wha seems to be, the exact same problem as in these threads-

I backed up files onto a 1tb external hard drive. Installed windows on my SSD. Now I am moving files back onto my old HHD and if I try to move the entire music folder, it doesn't work, but I can move individual files and certain folders within it. I have given myself all permissions needed, as in the other threads. I just wish I could drop and drag the entire thing. My documents folder transfered fine, but music, pictures, download, won't.
I'll keep playing around.
Update- Upon investigation, I tried using Powershell, but since my file locations have a "&" symbol in them, it doesn't work.
