This is my first build and finally after 8 hours I got everything to work, besides the graphics. I don't have a monitor so I use my tv and I can't set my pc up without the graphics because if the hdmi plug thing on my gpu. Anyways I had this graphics card in my old pc and ran fine I just took it out to put in new home build. The fan on the card doesn't even turn on. My card is a evga GeForce gtx 650, and my mother board is a asrock z77 extreme4 and my power supply is a Orion 585 watt supply. Please help and thank you in advanced!

Solution
Make sure the eight pin power plug on the edge of the mb is connected. On some new pc the onboard gpu is first output. Some mb bios may be old,may need to boot with one dimm or check that the mb will post with your CPU.

do you have the pci-e power cord plugged into the video card? also, have you tried plugging the card into the other pci-e lane. finally, when you boot up the pc, are you sure it is posting? your problem may not be in the graphics card.
