Building a computer for my brother and just wanting second opinions on these components, anything better or similar for less money? He makes music using Fruity Loops, renders videos frequently and plays games, the most graphic intensive of which at the moment is probably GTA IV. I will explain my thinking behind the components if you wish please ask me to. And if you are suggesting other parts please have them cheaper as this is the farthest I personally could push his budget. The main question however is, would this all fit in the case I've selected. Here is the spec. It is sitting at £940 before any shipping costs. Must be UK based websites. The graphics card has just had £30 taken off the price so the rig now comes in at £910.

Revised the setup. Now have single stick of RAM for 8gb, so it's expandable to 32gb if ever needed. Also changed the GPU to a EVGA GTX 760. Going to check his current case and if it can be re-used the build will only cost £780.

UPDATE:
So final update, or I hope so as everything gets ordered tomorrow, swapped the SSHD for a 120GB Samsung SSD and the 2tb for a 3tb 7200rpm Barracuda. Went for the EVGA GTX 760 Superclocked ACX 2gb GPU. Cooler Master Elite 430 case (as it is only £35 in summer sale and definitely fits the GPU and Hyper 212 Evo cooler). Opted for 16gb of RAM as he does a lot of rendering and such and probably will be used to run our Minecraft server.
Bonus, I get to steal some RAM from his old rig to take me up to 12gb, although I will probably have to overclock it.

Could you give your opinion on gskill? Amazon are doing ares series g.skill 2x8gb kit for the same price. It is 1333MHz though but said to be good for OCing, not sure what the latency is however.

Depends on the sticks as far as OC potential, but GSkill basically ALWAYS has the overhead for at least one step up in OCing, even with the already higher freq sticks....have pretty much used them exclusively for builds for about 5 years now (200+) and look to them for upgrades also....If you can provide the model # can prob get you started with OCing them

Can try the Ares at 1600 9-10-10-27, 1.56, 2T, and CPU VTT to 1.16........on the GPUs, they are close, would say the maybe a couple FPS faster, but with the OCs thrown in and the OC headroom of the 760, when looking at the price difference, I'd go the 760

Thank you very much, don't think I've ever had such helpful people on a forum resisting calling people noobs for asking about something they're not sure about, very welcoming. I think that is all now, just to wait for delivery and build this up. I will post how it goes.
