So ye, I was rushing along and closing in on my finished build for my new Gaming Desktop. Once I have decided on all parts I will get started, when I enquirer'd here about which cpu I should use (i7-4770k or i5-4670k) and shared my rig (see below) I was prompted to reconsider my single graphic card choice of a GTX 780 and look into dual-sli GTX 770 from EVGA at 4gb. After seeing some benchmarks I was swayed =]

Then it was suggested, that with some patience I could wait it out for the ROG GTX 770 Poseidon's release (possibly September).

My rig (concept):

Asus Maximus VI hero (could also wait on this for the Formula)
I7-4770k
Corsair H100i Hydro
2x8 Corsair Vengeance pro, 2133MHz
(thinking I might lower that ram to 8gb @ 1600MHz)
850W Corsair Pro HX
120gb SSD and 1TB HDD
Win 7 64-bit

So with that info, what do you guys/girls/o.o think? wait for the 2gb ROG 770 or stick to the EVGA 4gb 770

Thanks in advance!

Unless the 4GB Poseidon is released, a Dual-GTX 770 4GB from EVGA is a better idea since 4GB is needed for more than one monitor. If you are planning to use a single monitor for your entire setup, I would get a GTX 780. However, unless you have a custom Waterloop, the Poseidon is unneeded and I would go for the GTX 770 4GB from EVGA.

At this moment I have 1 1920x1080 monitor, but with more time (mainly after rig is built) I will be saving towards the next two screens. I don't have a custom waterloop... Just cpu water cooling.

I see, it would be a good idea to get the extra monitor as soon as possible.
