I'm trying to build a pc, for gaming/school work, i probably would use it for games like Shogun total war, sim city Etc.

Would i have any problems with these parts? or even better parts that are the same price? Are they compatible? Thanks for helping.

Dude, how much pounds you can add over this ?? or this is the max you can pay ??

however , the build looks good to me , no problem at all , you can run all decent game mid-high with perfect FPS.

if you can add more 60 £ , i can help you a lot to get a huge performance boost for just 60 £ more .

this is the same build as yours , but i just replaced the FX-6300 with the FX-8320 8 cores processor to get more performance and way better future proof
and i replaced the HD 7850 with an HD 7870 to get extra performance and extra FPS and more better future proof

that will cost you an extra 60 pounds if you can pay more .

it's worth it so think about it .

Well how much performance boost would this give, would it be worth the money?

Wow, thanks for all the links and help, i have considered what you have said, but if i did upgrade it to what you suggested, would my 550w psu cope? Even if i did overclock the cpu

Best solution

ya buddy , that 550w quality PSU is more than enough for your system :
CPU max watt 125
GPU max watt 175
motherboard less than 40 W
hard disk ~ 35 W
fans , disk driver , ETC.... 20 ~ 30 W

that will be about about 400 ~ 450 W for whole system which means we have more 100 W to overclock and stuff .

go ahead with the FX-8320 and the HD 7870 , you will never Regret it .
