WD external HD not recognized

My 1 TB WD external hard drive just quit on me. My computer froze and would not reboot until I unplugged the external hard drive. Now when I connect my external hard drive, the light on it just blinks. I can feel it spinning but it acts like it can not read any data.

Try that external drive on another PC. If it doesn't work there either, it's the external drive. If it does work, you may have a problem with the MB.
