I will give the full story of whats happend. If you're going to reply please read it all. cheers.
-------------------------------------------------
I purchased a PC about 2weeks ago. Put it all togeather. I went to turn it on for the first time (the monitor was in my Graphics card) the screen stayed black? I didnt think anything of it since it was my first time turning it on... So i plugged it into the onboard(which works) and installed windows. I then tryed to use my Graphics card again. Didnt work. I then installed about 150 windows updates. Afterwards it worked(for a day) I then turned off my PC while i went to work. I got home turned on the PC and it stayed black. i then plugged my monitor into my onboard and installed windows updates(there was a couple updates which were these :: Update For Windows 7 for x64-based systems / View Sonic - Display - ViewSonic VX2433vm :: I Installed these 2 Updates turned it off... plugged it back into my graphics card IT WORKED! turned it off went to work again. Come back turn it on... SAME SHIT IS HAPPENING. So i install windows updates and then do the same thing. IT WORKED! but then i noticed that view sonic display drivers were getting installed. So i installed them manually and it worked for 2-3 days. BUT. NOW ITS HAPPENING AGAIN.

^what i wrote. But simplifyed so you may understand it a bit easyier.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
#1 - turned on PC for first time. (monitor was plugged into the GPU) screen stayed black
#2 - plugged it onto the onboard GPU. (worked) installed windows 7
#3 - plugged it back into my Graphics card. Turned on the PC and it still stayed BLACK.
#4 - i then put it back onto the onboard GPU and installed windows updates.
#5 - plugged back into my Graphics card. WORKED!
#6 - turned it off later that night.
#7 - Turned it back on in the morning. DIDNT WORK...
#8 - plugged it back onto the onboard (installed windows updates) there were 2 updates which were called ; View Sonic - Display - ViewSonic VX2433vm 'AND' Update For Windows 7 for x64-based systems.
#9 - i then plugged it back onto my graphics card. and it worked.
#10 - i did this about 2-3 times (2-3 days) once each morning.
#11 - i then installed Display drivers for my monitor.(WORKED FOR 2-3 DAYS)
#12 - But now its doing the SAME SHIT AGAIN...

HELP D; PLEASE. I beg of you to help me.

What GPU do you have? if you spent $2000 im guessing something pretty high end. If at all possible could you list the parts of the build.

But make sure the GPU is seated properly, and the extra power cables are correctly attached. Take it out the PCI slot and re-seat it and see if that's it. If it isn't, check the drivers and make sure they are up to date.

It could be a bad GPU. If you just bought it, it'll be under warranty. Just call the manufacturer and see what they say about it. It sounds like a bad card though, since your onboard graphics work, but when you plug in the card it doesn't. Unless the cards not seated properly

Do you have another card you could possibly pop in? If you do and that card works, then that would be proof the 660TI is not working.
If you do, just make sure you uninstall those drivers for your video card you already have installed

I think its gonna be the card, without a doubt, but you never know. You might be able to take the just the card instead of the entire machine. Might cost a little less, but i don't know how they operate.
