Hello All,

Basic Question...well kinda...

The two I am looking at are as follows....

1. 32" Widescreen 1920x1080 Sceptre E325BV-FMDU LCD HDTV w/ Built-in Speakers, VGA & HDMI-Input

2. 27" Widescreen 1920x1080 ASUS VE278Q Black 2ms Backlight LCD Display w/ Built-in Speaker, DVI, & HDMI-Input

I do not know a lot about Sceptre, so I was unsure if this is a good monitor.

Please any feedback or experience with these monitors would be great!!!

Thanks,

Jim

I have a pair of the non speaker edition of the asus monitors , and I'm very happy with them i do occasionally have issues with the auto detect when switching from DVI to HDMI sometimes its a bit finicky and requires a few tries before it agree's that there is signal on that channel and not to default back to one it was using previously ( but if im simultaneously using multiple inputs its fine)

I've also had to use ASUS's warranty on one of the two when I noticed one of the panel lights was significantly reduced in brightness obviously somthing had died inside, they arranged for collection of the old next dayed me a new one , So i would definitely recommend them.

Personally i don't rate monitors with inbuilt sound .... they are usually ... pretty poor regardless of make.
Sadly I cant comment on sceptre a quick google tells me they aren't some cheap Chinese import but a company that only makes monitors , their websites a bit dated :p and also the model you appear to have selected is actually a TV rather than a pc monitor .
