Just to start out frank, I'm an idiot, and that's why I'm here, anyway. I'm considering getting two extra monitors, as so I could have three monitors running.

Now, I have an AMD HD 7970, and from what I understand, AMD with eyefinity is capable of handling three monitors (Correct me if I'm wrong )

With this hopefully being the case, how would I go about setting up the extra two monitors? I already have one plugged into the HDMI outlet ( I think ) The other monitors would be Asus VS247H-P 24-Inch Full-HD LED-Lit Monitor. Any help would be lovely! (P.S) My Case is the Azza Genesis 9000, big and lovely by the way.

Hey, I'm having a slight issue, where I seem to be unable to find my displayport connection. I know it's in the back, by the DVI and HDMI connections, but every tab I try, it doesn't seem to fit. Is there anyway I could be simply missing it, or am I just missing it?

Mind dumbing it down for me? My username should hint towards my technical prowess. Mind taking this step-by-step? I believe I have two mini-DisplayPort connectors, as they are the smaller ones? I then have a larger one, closest to the HDMI and DVI connections. Other then that, I'm not sure what a Mini-DP to DP adapter is.

If the back of your card looks like this.

Then you only have Mini-Displayport connectors (far left) and you will need an adapter to bring them to full size (Mini-DP -> DP), which you can use with the adapter I recommended above.

Then you have a DisplayPort... port, which is on the far left.

Telling me what card your using (exact model) may help, some cram in extra ports (particularly the higher VRAM models, like the Sapphire Vapor-X).

I am using MD Radeon HD 7970 3GB 16X PCIe 3.0 Video Card With

• Marketing name : HD7970 3GB GDDR5
• Core/Memory clock: 925mhz/5.5Gbps
• Memory size: 3Gb ( GDDR5 )
• Memory Bit : 384bit
• Output : DL DVI-I / HDMI / MI DP / MI DP

After checking the back, I would believe you are correct in saying that I'll need an adapter for it to work. So, what would you recommend? Also, is this viable for gaming, as in, no video lag?
