So, my friends computer has been acting really strange with the LAN as of late. He will randomly lose connection, and it will come back a few moments later. This causes him to drop from anything he does and it happens periodically. His motherboard is an ASUS M5A97 R2.0, and he is running Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate. Now, we checked in the event viewer to see if it was showing anything and this shows up. The TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper service was successfully sent a stop control.
The reason specified was: 0x40030011 [Operating System: Network Connectivity (Planned)]
The TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper service entered the stopped state.
The TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper service entered the running state.
We tried the remedy of turning off Computer Master, (some forums said to try that), but no luck. So, any other suggestions?
