Hi All,

This started happening about 2 months ago on an off. Either coming out of standby or booting up from scratch, on occasion I get tis problem where the computer turns on for two seconds, turns off and then on again but won't boot. I hit the reset switch and everything works. I don't have any crashes or anything that would cause signs that something is failing. My setup will run for hours with no issues. The PSU I have been using since 2007 and is a Thermaltake 550W modular. Just a note that I don't overclock and use the on-board video.

I have a i5-3570k 4 4GB sticks of Patriot DDR3 memory and a Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H motherboard with the latest bios update of F16.

I would appreaciate any thoughts on this problem.

Thanks,
Nick

I'm sorry, but what would the 1 stick of ram and booting it up debug exactly? I am not getting any crashes which may indicate issues with memory.
