My 64-bit laptop with Windows 7 is crashed, and is pretty near useless in this stage without a bootable device. But, my 32-bit desktop with Windows Vista runs just fine. So, can I use my desktop to create a bootable usb device for the laptop; or will I need to find another computer with the same operating system? Probably a redundant question in some sense, but before I get too far into the process, I figured I'd ask.

The above link had everything I needed as far as instructions, windows 7 iso download, and windows boot tool.

At first I tried to make a windows 7 boot usb using a windows vista computer, but that did NOT work. So, I went to my mommy's and used her windows 7 laptop, and it booted right up.
