What's a good 2gb GPU for $100-$200?

So i recently realized that i actually do need a dedicated GPU graphics card if i really want to game on my new rig instead of just using the integrated graphics on my AMD A10 6800k apu. So i need a graphics card that preferably has 2gb of video RAM to future proof and i have a budget of $200 at the most, but hoping to spend like $150. I also only have a Corsair CX430M psu so it cant be a huge, power hungry card i guess. Any help is greatly appreciated!

The 7870ghz is the best card for you I believe. I know it's the fastest. However, if the evga 650 ti boost says it's ok with 400w psu's, it might be your safest bet. I would stick with the 650 ti boost just to be safe.

You are going to have to upgrade the Psu to get a decent card. So let's figure that into the budget of 200 dollars. If you can deal with mail in rebates, this'll do real well for you:

i dont know why i put 350, its really a CX430M psu. Gotta fix that post, so will the 430 be good enough? i hope

I'm showing 364w used with that above setup you specified, so you should be ok. Actually, you only have one PCI-E connector, which means you'd have to use a molex to 6 pin adapter, which isn't really recommended. Meh, I'd still get the new power supply, of if you can find a few extra dollars get the 600w version so that you actually get a decent wattage upgrade over the 430. It'll allow you to upgrade your Pc in the future more easily too.

So which of the two is better? Are they both compatible with my CX430M psu? I really dont want to have to get a new psu and dont have money to do so.

UPDATE: I dont think the EVGA GeForce GTX 650 Ti BOOST SuperClocked 2GB will work with my 430W psu, but i found the little brother of it which says it needs a 400W or greater psu so im all good there. After looking at the minimum recommended Psu wattage, I think the 650 ti boost will be the best choice. I believe there is a good chance the 7870ghz will work also, but if it doesn't, you've either wasted time, or money. The 650 ti boost will work for you, and isn't a bad card.

+1 for this also if you have 430w you still want to go ahead with the PSU upgrade although I'd buy the 600w version just for a few dollars more, AMD states that you should have a 500w minimum for that card and pretty much any decent card asks for that amount so its a good investment, its not worth skimping on the component that powers and supplies your whole rig.

Actually if you want to save some $$$ and want something better than a 650Ti go for a HD 7850, it can overclock to a stock 7870 anyway and its a great card for the money, I have one myself however once again all these cards on the manufacturers site recommend a 500w PSU.

I really want the 7870ghz, and all it comes down to now is knowing if forsure my CX430M psu will support it, because i know my current psu can support the 650 Ti. Do you (or anybody else:D) know how much better the 7870 is compared to the 650Ti Boost 2gb because i think ill have to end up getting the 650 Ti 2gb

Well, the AMD page recommends a 500w Psu for the 7870ghz edition card, but then it says: "NOTE: Minimum recommended system power supply wattage is based on the specific graphics card and the typical power requirements of other system components. Your system may require more or less power. OEM and other pre-assembled PCs may have different power requirements" I showed your normal wattage draw to be around 364w with that card, so if your Psu delivers at least 430w, you really should be ok. One thing that bothers me though, is having to use a molex(4 pin) to PCI-E adapter for the second 6 pin power socket on the video card. It's generally not recommended, but if it works you'll be fine. Again, it's up to you. I know the 7870ghz is the better performing card though, and a hell of a price for that particular one.

But my Corsair CX430M psu does have all the connectors and etc to power the 7870ghz right? I believe i saw just one 6 pin PCI-E connector when i was wiring my rig though so im not sure, any clarification on that? I would need a molex to 6 pin adapter also right? Just one or two? Oh yeah, most importantly, why do you not recommend the adapter?

It's just generally not recommended. Possibly because a molex adapter isn't necessarily designed to have the amps for a video card on it. That 7870ghz has two 6 pin power plug ins, and I believe you are right in that your 430w only comes with one. I'd think that the video card comes with a molex adapter though, so you should be set there.
