Hello all,
I am very new to actual RAID setup. We have a computer at work that has a new HDD added to it, and we want to setup RAID 1 on it (software RAID since the motherboard doesn't have a RAID controller) without deleting the existing drive. From the articles and videos I've seen, this doesn't seem to be possible. You have to backup the main drive, setup RAID, then write the backed up data to the new RAID volume.
Thanks in advance for the replies
