Hii guys
I was planning to upgrade my pc. I was planning for mobo Asus MAXIMUS VI GENE and cpu i5-4670k. Will it work perfectly with single stick of 4gb Ram 1600mhz ..?

Will it work? Yes. But you will lose the 5%-7% performance advantage of having dual channel. 2 matched sticks would be better. No sense in buying a high end system like that then crippling it even if it is only a few percent.

DDR 1866 or 2133 makes more sense with a Haswell build as well. Make sure it's 1.5v

1. Thank you for replying .
2. Shortage of budget that's why I pick only 1 stick. But after some time i Will get another stick.
3. I am from India . Here is not easily available 1866, 2133etc rams. If i get available anywhere then it Will be so costly.
