Watercooled 560 TI

I was curious if keeping my watercooled EVGA 560ti 2gig @ 1.5v @ 969 mhz wont shorten the lifespan of the chips? I put aluminum heat sinks on the chips. I used the Arctic Accelero Hybrid generic closed water cooling loop. I couldn't find anything on this so any feedback shouldn't hurt.

1.5V? Holy hell, no way is that safe. You shouldn't even need that much voltage for 969 MHz.

Mine has just died after six months of folding with an Arctic Accelero Hybrid on it and I was running at the default voltage of 0.92
