problem in nework password for my home network

I have a DSL router and I am trying to connect home PC to my laptop, former running Windows 7 Home premium the Laptop having Windows 7 ultimate, From my PC I can see the laptop in 'networking,'but when I try to open it a box opens asking me to enter 'user name & Network password' I tried to enter my routers name & password but it didnt work . how do i get this 'user name & Network password'

the username and password is a username and password of the account with the same name on the laptop you are accessing.

You should use system_name\user_name with the correct password, e.g., laptop_name\administrator (or whatever account has full access) and that administrator's password.
