Hi guys, i'm building a new mid-range gaming pc. and i am looking for a decent motherboard, that will be pretty much future compatible,(like if i decide to upgrade the cpu to i5 or i7,or change the gpu,or ram and other stuff like that). So can you please suggest a good one. I'm looking for an atx motherboard $110 (Rs:7000).
and my other configuration is as follows

Optical Drive - LG GH24NS71/GH24NS72/GH24NS95 Internal Optical Drive -
Hard Drive - Seagate Barracuda 1 TB Desktop Internal Hard Drive (ST31000524AS)
PSU - Corsair CMPSU-430CXV2UK 430 Watts PSU
Motherboard - ???
Cabinet - Corsair 300R
Ram - Corsair Vengeance DDR3 4 GB (1 x 4 GB) PC RAM (CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9)
Processor - Intel Core i3-2100T
GPU - Asus AMD/ATI Radeon HD 7770 2 GB GDDR5 Graphics Card

Please suggest a good motherboard, that won't have any compatibilty issues with these components. And you can also suggest any other recommendation with the mentioned components. Thanks a lot..

Right now, there's no future-proof motherboard.

Intel changes motherboard with every new things they introduce with their CPUs. A LGA1150 motherboard might last for a few generations, or be replaced with the next generation of CPUs. It will most likely be around for another generation though.

As for AMD, the AM3/+ has been around for quite a while. But there are rumors of it being replaced with their next architecture, Steamroller.

The Core i3 you mentioned goes on a 1155 socket. Its a dead socket now. That will be far from future-proof. You could wait for 1150 compatible Core i3 to be released if you want newer platform.

There's the MSI B75A-G41. You won't really need anything more than a B75 for your CPU.

You can choose any motherboards from MSI with the B75 chipset. MSI doesn't make bad boards. I can't find any B75 ATX board by Asus. There are all Micro ATX.

Its great too. But you don't really need a Z77 motherboard. Z77 is for overclocking through an unlocked multiplier. You can't overclock your i3 this way.

By the time you will want to upgrade your Socket 1155 CPU, there will be already newer, better ones available. You will definitely need a new motherboard by then. That's why I was suggesting a B75 board to save money.

Unless you want to wait for the Haswell i3s, I see no reason to buy a Z77 board.

How about if i change from i3 to i5 and keep the z77 motherboard?
Would that be good enough?? and i'm thinking of going with the gpu-PowerColor AMD/ATI HD 7750 1 GB GDDR5

You won't need more than a good i3 for that kind of card.

If you will be buying high end cards, then the i5 will be needed. But the 7750 isn't a very powerful one. An i3 will be enough to not bottleneck the card, even for a 7770.

Keep the i3 and the 7770 if you cannot afford better. They are good enough for a basic gaming PC. I would also suggest going for a 3rd generation, Ivy Bridge Core i3 if you can find it at the same price in India. If not, the 2100T is good enough. If you can, also see if you can afford a faster i3.
