I took this screencap off of hdtune. IS this a healthy hard drive? It's brand new. I bought it only a month ago.

Oh wow. I was ripped off then. Lesson learned. Never shop for computer parts on ebay.

Did you check the serial number on WDC? It would tell you when the drive was manufactured.

No. But i'm contacting ebay and hopefully i'll get my money back. By any chance would you know how to back up files with windows 7 for when i get a new hard drive?

Borrow an external HDD from your friend if available, that's the best way.

Or, go to newegg or amazon to buy a BRAND NEW HDD, plug it into your rig and start copying all the files and folders by using ghost 11.0(There will be guide tutoring how to use it, both in Windows and in DOS mode).

Don't get tricked this time when buying a HDD
