Hello,
got a Belkin F5D8233-4 from a friend that seems to be in full bridge mode but I'd like to use it as a wireless router instead. I can't seem to be able to reset it to factory settings. I've asked him if he's done something to the router like a load a WRT firmware on it or something but he's saying he hasn't. I'm not sure I believe him but then again I'm out of ideas as to what to do. Is there anything I can do about that? the only light that comes on when the router is on is the Wired led but that seems to be flickering constantly and rapidly. It's not continuously on. I don't know if anyone recognises that? any help would be appreciated!

I didnt know the 30/30/30 reset.

Would it work on any router? It works fine as a switch. It's like having an unmanaged switch which is what he bought later. He went and bought a netgear unmanaged switch. He's a weird one, he likes to fiddle with everything like that in some cases going to far and messing things up. And he forgets what he tells you. He's more than capable of telling me truth of what he's done to it in 1-2 months time :D

I'll try that and tell you how it goes, thanks!

I tried the 303030 reset which did something because the Wired led seemed to be working like it was loading something and then.. puff.. nothing. It all went out.. no lights at all. I plugged it into my laptop doesnt give any IP and 192.168.2.1 doesnt ping.

Any ideas? :??:
