fx4100 stock and 7870xt bottleneck?

hey there i have a 7870xt since 2month and think that my cpu bottlenecks my 7870xt since i am only getting like 15-30 fps average in crisis with texture very high and aa off:(( and everyone on youtube get like 30-40 while recording with afterburner :O and without like 35 to 45 my pc: amd fx 4100
7870xt club 3d,
8gb 1600mhz Geil dragon ram,
650 watt xfx xxx edition,
Gigabyte 990fx ud3.

if my cpu bottlenecks my gpu could i fix that with a fx 6300 6350?

Try adjusting the FX4100, it should increase performance but I dont know how much by. It isnt the best of gaming CPU's out there. But before you begin searching for a new CPU which is what someone will recommend over clock to around 4.0 if you know how to overclock.

Hmm i dont know how to overclock and i still have the stock cooler :$ soo... But i dont want to buy a new cooler for 30euro. If i would get a new cpu like the fx6300 i would have a better pc and no bottleneck or? if my stock cpu cooler could handle the overclock i could try that but i dont know how to overclock :(( but i will search it on youtube or soo
  3. If you can get the 8320 get that, it is a good CPU and will perform well for your gaming needs and there should not be any bottlenecking

    http://cpuboss.com/cpus/AMD-FX-8320-vs-AMD-FX-6300

This is how your GPU and th FX 8320 would perform together when playing a game such as Far Cry 3

  4. i just downloaded easy tune from gigabyte.com and used the quickboost tool that worked great got a nice stable overclock at the first try now i'm running on 4,2 ghz :) :D that worked a bit slightly less lagg and more fps or yeah less stuttering. but i will upgrade to a 6300 fx in a couple of days when i get one cheap :D thx

edit: and ohh yeah my own try to overclock failed hard XD wouldn't start nothing happend :/ but clearing cmos fixed this :0 :)
  5. Good idea and no problem, well done and good luck!
