I'm a large high-end SSD but obviously it will need a HDD to accompany it for the heavy storage. As far as I know western digital is the best brand, do I buy WD black or velociraptor?

Solution
Get the WD Black will be more efficient since you already have an SSD. The velociraptor would be a good addition! You'll put your OS on your SSD I guess, then games on your velociraptor. If the hybrid learns which to cache, it would also be faster than the WD Black. If you got the budget, then why not.

Oh yea it's you again, the 780 sli, build for a rich friend. Go with the velociraptor since he's got so much cash. haha

Velociraptor is way faster than the black, but at that price you're better off getting an SSD. Since you are already getting an SSD it doesn't matter.

So I would go with the black cause it is a great hard drive for the price.
