WiFi Problems! Need Help!

I have a Netgear WNR3500 router and a arris touchstone tm502g. The connection drops all the time. The Ethernet doesn't just WiFi. It is extremely agrivating. any idea on what it is? We have Time Warner cable also.

Much more info needed:

Is only the WiFi dropping, or the wired as well?
Environmental concerns: distance from the router? What is in between the affected device(s) and the router?
Where is the router?
Is this only one device, or all of them?
Apartment? House? Rural or suburban?

Only WiFi is dropping
distance 10ft-100ft (all distances)
In between is sheetrock walls
All Devices (WiFi Devices)
Suburban House
