Hey guys,

I just buyed a new computer and have a big and annoying problem. If I start a game (for example NBA 2k13), the GPU Fan is going to 100% (very very loud) without a special reason. I have used Speedfan but it was not really helpful. I changed it manually and about 10 minutes later I had a grey screen with stripes. Can you guys tell me what I can to? This noise is annoying while playing games.

CPU: AMD Bulldozer FX-4350 4x 4,2Ghz
graphics card: AMD Radeon HD 7770 1GB
RAM: 8GB DDR3-1333
Mainboard: MSI 760GM-P23 FX AM3+

PS. sorry for my english if something is wrong, I'm from Germany but this forum is more active than that one in german.

Greets, Domi

Sharkoon VS3-V case: Unfortunately this case only has 1 intake fan, the others are optional, so I would consider adding an exhaust one.

But your problem with 7770 isn't linked with the Sharkoon tower anyways. Your temperatures are good and it's normal that the fan gets to 100% while gaming. The only problem is the noise so you might just have a defective fan, since the system is new go back to the store and ask for the video card to be replaced.

You will have to give us more information:

- What brand & model is your 7770? I'd like to know which cooler it uses?

- What case do you have? Good airflow is very important for PCs with gamer video cards.

- Did you monitor your temps? Both on idle and while gaming?

It's also possible you have a defective card. You could have it exchanged at the store you bought it. Or you could also use the card manufacturer warranty and contact them for support, they might help you troubleshoot and tell you if there's something wrong with your card.

First, thanks for you fast answers guys.

- Hmm I dunno where I could check that, I've buyed that computer from so-called "gaming systems company" and they just said it's AMD Radeon HD 7770 1 GB 1Ghz - and I've got a "ATI Radeon premium graphics" CD with drivers, not more. Where can I see which cooler it uses?

- Sharkoon VS3-V (http://www.sharkoon.com/?q=en/content/vs3-v)

- Temperature:

on idle: about 50-53 °C (fan at 40%)

while playing: about 60-62 (fan at 80-100%)

Update: I think its from VTX3D, thats the case where that CD is in.
