Just purchased a PNY Geforce 760 graphics card, The old power supply that i had was only 450 watts so i had to upgrade it (750 watts). When I got it all hooked up and ready to go,turn on the computer, I was stuck on the hp loading screen(I have the hp h8-1212c) it will not let me enter boot menu and is completely frozen on that screen. Computer beeps once then there is a long pause and then it beeps again. After about 3 beeps the computer beeps once then 3 times very rapidly.

I was thinking that I could have possibly messed up my pci-e slot but when I put my old graphics card in(which is a Geforce 460 v2 model) the computer booted up just fine. What could be causing this problem? i have tried uninstalling my old card just in case that was it, but still the same, also went into the BIOS to see if i have find anything, but well I didn't know what I was looking for, I don't know if my PC has a integrated graphics chip, had the Geforce 520 in it when I got it, also my BIOS is up to date any help with be great, thanks.

Specs
OS: Win 7 (64 bit) Home Premium
System Model: h8-1212c
Processor: Intel Core i7-2600 @ 3.40GHz
BIOS Version/Date: AMI 7.12, 12/10/2011
RAM: 10 GB
GPU (current): GTX 460 v2
Hopefully upgrade GPU to: PNY Geforce 760

I don't think it's a bad card case. Have you tried installing your 760 in another machine?

I had a similar problem which was solved by updating the bios but you've already done it. So all I can guess is that your motherboard isn't compatible with this GPU.

Also, I run a GTX 770 using a 500W PSU(Corsair GS500), so it's very unlikely your PSU is the problem's source.

In the worst case, if nothing else works, you could try another uATX mobo. Since interface is the same, I don't think any other upgrade/switch would be necessary but that's only a guess.

Had the exact problem, I downloaded Gigabyte's @Bios software, and updated the BIOS from WINDOWS which I was somehow able to load after said three beeps. The card works fine now.
