Hello i'm getting the FX 6300 CPU and the Gtx 760 gpu, and i need a good mobo because ill be OCing the CPU. Till now my pick is the : ASUS M5A97 R2.0 AM3+
Is that the best mobo i can get under 100? and how much improvement will my CPU benefit from OC , because i heard the FX series are overclock friendly.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

This is the mobo I have, currently clocked at 4.2ghz on my 965 BE (FX series chips overclock easier, too) on Cooler Master 212+

The BIOS is very nice and easy to adjust voltages and multipliers. This board has a cheaper little brother (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...) that features most of the same stuff.

I'd say you're definitely fine with the ASUS mobo you listed as it is *probably* higher quality than the ASRock motherboard I own and my board overclocks well.

You should be able to see a noticeable performance increase via overclocking. I have heard of people reaching 5.2ghz on air with that chip!

Hope this helps!
