ok, so I bought a set of ram from a guy who said his system kept crashing with them in, and he just wanted to buy a new set instead of troubleshooting. I ran memtest86+ on all but 1 stick for about 1 hour, and had 0 errors, then, the last stick had just about 38 errors after 25 mins. when I stopped it. is this a bad stick of ram and should I toss it, or would it still work in with the others? whatis the acceptable pass/fail rate for a stick of ram in memtest? any help?
if you are wondering, it was a 16gb set of ram (4x4gb corsair 1600mhz) and I bought it for 15$
